Set in the beautiful gardens at Le Bouchet, the large pool (12m x 5.5m) is ideal for a bit of a refreshing relief on hot sunny days. The pool is open from May to the end of September and heated by a heat pump so even the odd cloudy day shouldn't spoil your enjoyment. A range of pool toys and floats are provided to complete the fun.

The pool deck is fenced for your security and peace of mind with pool entry points protected by pool security locks to prevent any toddler wandering in by accident. Next to the pool is a large sun terrace with sun loungers to make the most of topping up your tan. There is also a picnic area overlooking the pool so you can keep an eye on your youngsters while enjoying a coffee.

For those of you wanting to make more of a splash, the local aqua park just five minutes away in Descartes has six pools including a jacuzzi and water slides (we can't compete with that!) and the pool at Chatellerault has facilities for the disabled. Do remember, in line with most French public pools, men are not allowed to swim in shorts so don't forget your speedos!
